On November 25, 2025, GAC officially launched its pure electric SUV model AION V in Athens, the capital of Greece. Following Finland, Poland, and Portugal, Greece has become the fourth European market to welcome GAC vehicles. This move has successfully extended the coverage of GAC's high-quality electric vehicles to Southern Europe, achieving another key breakthrough in the European regional market.

AION V Makes On-Site Debut
As a key model developed by GAC to meet the demands of the European market, AION V is deeply aligned with Greece's core requirements for sustainability, safety, and spaciousness in its design, demonstrating outstanding advantages in technology and user experience. AION V holds a five-star safety rating from the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP), with a WLTP combined cruising range of 510 kilometers and a charging time of only 24 minutes from 10% to 80% battery capacity, striking an efficient balance between travel efficiency and safety assurance. To ensure long-term reliability, the model also offers an industry-leading warranty policy — an 8-year/160,000-kilometer vehicle warranty and an 8-year/200,000-kilometer battery warranty. This not only reassures consumers about the vehicle's durability but also effectively reduces the total cost of ownership. Coupled with Greece's continuously improving charging network, AION V has made "range anxiety" a thing of the past.

Greece Launch Event
During the launch of AION V, GAC simultaneously held interactive activities with the media, partners, customers, and employees. These activities not only allowed all parties to experience AION V's product advantages and brand philosophy up close but also helped strengthen the collaborative relationship with partners, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent operation of the Greek market.

AION V entering the Greek market represents another major milestone in GAC’s growth across Europe. Earlier this year in September, GAC introduced AION V to the Finnish market, completing a key deployment in the Nordic region. Now, by further expanding into the Greek market, GAC has realized a linked layout of the Nordic and Southern European markets. This not only makes its European regional footprint more comprehensive but also builds a solid regional fulcrum for its subsequent in-depth development of the European electric mobility market.
